Delicious Chicken Lettuce Cups

After a hot day at the park nothing tastes better than crispy fresh lettuce wraps. The fresh taste of lettuce with minced chicken in a Gyoza Sauce is one of our favorites. It's so easy with a little help from Trader Joes - TJ's it can take you less than 30 minutes.

  • 1 bottle of TJ's Gyoza Dipping Sauce
  • 1 container of TJ's pre cooked Teriyaki Chicken
  • Pine nuts
  • Mushrooms
  • Onion (red or white)
  • Head of lettuce
  1. Chop mushrooms and Onion into very small pieces place in a wok and satay with a tablespoon of oil* until soft.
  2. Chop chicken into tiny pieces and throw into the wok. Add the pine nuts and about 1/2 a bottle of sauce and satay until hot and mixed about ten minutes.
  3. Wash the lettuce and carefully cut the head in half and pull the pieces to make cups.
  4. Place the chicken mixture in a bowl with a serving utensil and the lettuce in another and enjoy!
*I used grape seed oil, it has a nice flavor and less calories than olive oil.

This is a great appetizer or light summer dinner.
