THE LOST ART OF CALLIGRAPHY

Are you getting married in the Fall? It's that time of year, are you starting to pick your wedding invitations? putting together your guest lists? Although it may seem early, trust me,time flies.

These days most people get their invitations printed and addressed on a computer, however, have you thought of getting your invitations addressed with calligraphy? Although it may seem old fashion, there is something so special about getting a hand-written invitation, especially when it is written in calligraphy. You have to remember that the front of the invitation is the first impression your guests will have of your wedding, it sets the theme for the wedding. If you are going with a classic elegant theme or a rustic vintage theme, there are all different calligraphy fonts that will match your wedding perfectly.
I haven’t mentioned it yet, but I am very fortunate to have a Mother who is a calligraphist, check out her website http://www.calligraphyartbybetz.com/. You can view examples of different types of calligraphy.

Here are some samples of addressed envelopes, escort cards, and signage done in calligraphy to help you get inspired.
