Pregnancy ~ 36 Weeks

How far along? 36 weeks (37 Saturday)
Baby size: About the size of a head of romaine lettuce and over 6 pounds. At this stage he's gaining about an ounce a day.
Gender: Boy
Favorite Maternity Clothes: I'm on maternity leave now, so comfy clothes are my favorite. My feet are so puffy I can't wear anything but flip flops and my tennis shoes with the laces pulled out...the joys of pregnancy!!
Sleep: I'm getting more uncomfortable every day, so sleep is a little harder.
Missing anything: Missing wearing cute shoes!!! Yes, as vain as that sounds I miss wearing skinny jeans and boots.
Best moment this week(s): The best moment this week was going on maternity leave. Friday was my last day of work and it feels great just to relax and prepare for baby.
Baby movement: He's not moving as much because it's getting a little more cramped inside me, but if I drink cold water and relax, he definitely gets kicking :)
Cravings: I've been very hungry the last few days, but no different cravings.
Rings on or off?: Ring is still off, but I got a pretty ring at Bella Boutique as a temporary ring until the swelling in my hands goes down.
Prenatal Classes: I took a breastfeeding class last week and it was very informative. Glad I took the class and I would definitely recommend first time mothers taking all the classes - they were very helpful for both of us.
Anything I really don't like: PUFFY FEET and feeling heavy!!
Nursery planning: Our "Urban Nursery" in our one bedroom apartment is coming together and almost done. Pictures in this blog post.
Exercise: Walking is what I have for exercise now, although even that is much harder. I'm trying to stay active, but it's much harder to move. I'm going to give swimming a try this week.
Looking forward to: Now that I'm on maternity leave I'm much more relaxed and enjoying my time off. Todd and I came down to Santa Cruz (with our hospital bags packed - just in case) we're enjoying some rest and relaxation before the storm. We're having a Passover Cedar on Saturday with the family and my brother and his girlfriend Sara are coming to celebrate with us. We're excited to meet baby boy, but also crossing our fingers he waits to come until after the weekend!
